Flexible Payment Options & Insurance Reimbursement Support

While we do not accept insurance directly,  we offer a range of flexible payment options to make receiving support convenient for you.

We accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA accounts. Additionally, we can provide a superbill or itemized invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we meet online or in person?

You can choose based on your preference. I offer in-person sessions in Eldersburg, MD, and can also see anyone physically present in Maryland for virtual sessions.

We will review your intake documents, you will have a chance to ask any questions, and we will spend time getting to know one another. I believe that your comfort with your therapist is the most important aspect of therapy. Therefore, my number one priority for your first session is that you feel safe and supported. You can choose at what pace you would like to dive into the deeper work.

For your first session, I just ask that you complete all of the intake documents 24 hours before your session. Subsequent sessions may have some or no preparation involved. Many times, we will discuss something that you can practice outside of session as “homework” such as a meditation, setting a new boundary, or practicing a new coping skill. This is not school, though, and you will never be judged if you forget or get too overwhelmed

This is very case dependent. Some clients with very short-term goals are able to find success with as few as 6 sessions. Others may take years to develop new thought patterns, to heal past wounds, and develop new behaviors in line with the life they want to live. Even still, I find that some individuals enjoy keeping the door open for monthly or quarterly check-ins well after they have met their therapy goals. My approach is deeply client-centered and I will nudge you towards decreasing services as I feel you’re able, but I always let the client guide me based on what they feel they need.

Initial intakes are $165, 60-min sessions are $150, 45-min sessions are $130, and 30-min sessions are $110.

I am out-of-network with insurance companies. This means you will pay directly for your sessions; however, upon request, I can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider beforehand to understand your out-of-network benefits and determine if and how much they may reimburse you before beginning therapy.

My cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be responsible for the full session fee. I reserve this time specifically for you, and short-notice cancellations prevent others from accessing these slots. Thank you for understanding and helping me serve all clients effectively.
